The different Menopause Types are defined by the hormone levels of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone. Estradiol and progesterone may both be normal, estradiol can be deficient, progesterone may be low, or both estradiol and progesterone can be deficient. Then add to these four possibilities that testosterone may be normal, low or high, and we now have twelve different menopause types.

Most insurance companies do not reimburse for nutrition consultations, so I do not accept insurance. Ask your insurance company what their policy is on this matter. Some companies will pay if you have a referral from a physician. You would then need to pay for the services, send the invoice to your insurance company, and be reimbursed by them directly. Certain health conditions may make you eligible for a special tax credit.
