Your Moodiness May Be Menopause Related

Are you experiencing mood swings, anxiety, and irritability or even depression?  Are you feeling withdrawn, finding yourself caring less about things that used to matter?  Do you find it difficult to find the right word or having trouble remembering names or events?  If this is you, you’re not alone.  Many women experience mood and memory problems which are affected by Hormone Imbalance.
And, it’s not just one hormone that is responsible.  Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone can all contribute to mood and memory problems.  When Estrogen levels are restored to optimal levels, depression is often alleviated. Estrogen also enhances reasoning skills, specifically verbal memory which is the ability to remember names and words.

When Progesterone levels drop, a woman can experience Anxiety, Irritability and Nervousness. While excessive levels may cause an increase in appetite with weight gain, decreased coordination and even feelings of vertigo or spinning. Either way, this is very unsettling for any woman.

Are you feeling less confident or less worthy? Then inadequate levels of Testosterone may be blame. When testosterone levels are below normal, that can have a significant negative effect on how you view yourself and even others.

The most advanced approach to managing hormone imbalance is to meet the unique needs of each individual woman and reject the “One-Size-Fits-All” approach many practitioners use.  The good news is, mood and memory disorders can respond positively to nutritional and herbal remedies. And the better news is they work to “Restore” not “Replace” a woman’s natural hormones.

If you are unsure if hormones are causing these symptoms, there is a very simple and accurate saliva test I offer to my clients, which, when analyzed by the lab, produces a clear picture of what’s going on.  If a problem is identified, I then work with my clients on an individual basis to balance their system, not with drugs, but naturally.
