URINARY TRACT HEALTH
d-Mannose
Concentrated urinary tract support
*d-Mannose is a simple sugar found naturally in cranberries and pineapple. It is metabolized in small amounts, the remainder of which is excreted via the urine. As it is flushed out of the body, d-mannose maintains a healthy environment for the mucosal surface of the urinary tract. D-Mannose does not kill bacteria, friendly or unfriendly. D-Mannose simply helps to remove misplaced E. coli from inside of the urinary tract by the natural process of urination.

Olive Leaf Extract
Olive leaf extract has been found useful in improving resistance to microbial infection. It contains significant qualities of phenolic compounds, such as oleuropein, oleuropeoside, and hydroxytyrosol, that have been shown to have anti microbial properties, as well as antioxidant power. These properties may protect against intestinal or respiratory infections.
It has been shown that olive plant tissue can reduce plasma levels, lower cholesterol, protect from heart disease, and inhibit platelet aggregation. The polypheols of the olive plant also have blood sugar-lowering properties.

UT Synergy
Designed to help maintain optimal urinary tract function, UT Synergy’s blend of nutrients, botanicals, and nutraceuticals have been combined to limit inflammation and tissue irritation, and can provide a natural alternative or complimentary therapy for mild acute and chronic urinary tract infections.
Our reformulated UT Synergy features UTIrose™, a patented, exciting and unique new compound designed specifically for urinary tract infections. UTIrose™ is a patented extract of the hibiscus species, Hibiscus sabdariffa. The rose refers to Roselle-the other name of Hibiscus. UTIrose™ is high in certain organic acids and polyphenols, especially flavonoids and proanthocyanidins.
It is these compounds that give UTIrose™ its anti-microbial (especially against E. coli and C. albicans) and bacterial anti-adhesive properties. In comparisons with standard cranberry extract UTIrose™ showed better antimicrobial activity and much better activity against C. albicans.
In an in-vivo study, patients receiving 200mg. daily of UTIrose™ experienced a 57% reduction in urinary tract infections after 3 months and a 77% reduction in urinary tract infections after six months of use.
